Within the "Green Building" movement in the United States there are a variety of green building rating programs available. These rating programs are found at the local, state, and national levels. While no two programs are identical, there are common themes found throughout the various rating programs. In this course, attendees get a glimpse of the premier green building rating program - Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, commonly referred to simply as LEED.
LEED and other green risk rating program requirement will create coverage issues after a property loss, especially since the insured desires to maintain their "green" label. This course helps you understand and explain why green endorsements were developed.
